Paul Hatvany Kitchen

Paul Kitchen is a real estate broker-associate and has worked full-time with Nina Hatvany and Team for over six years since deciding to pursue Real Estate after earning his law degree at UCLA. Paul helps clients to buy and sell all kinds of properties, and enjoys analyzing and advising clients on condition, pricing and all the myriad nuances of San Francisco ownership and sales involving single family homes, condos, TICs, and co-ops. He particularly enjoys multi-unit properties and has become an expert on this type of property not only by helping clients, but also by owning and managing multiple multi-residential buildings around the city and even residing in one that is part of his management portfolio. Recently, he has opened up his own investment portfolio, to invest for others interested in maximizing returns under his direction.

Paul’s legal background serves as an asset for both buyers and sellers alike. He keeps up to date with the myriad local laws and the ever-changing legal and political landscape so as to best advise his clients on pricing, risk-management, portfolio goals, acquisitions, and strategy. He is well-versed in the nuances of landlord-tenant law and building codes as they relate to residential use. Born and raised in San Francisco, Paul is a graduate of Stuart Hall and Urban High School and intimately familiar with San Francisco’s ever-changing neighborhoods.

Paul is a member of the California Bar Association. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from University of Southern California (USC) and earned his law degree from the UCLA School of Law.

In his spare time, Paul is an avid car-racer, fan of Motorsports, and aspiring collector. He can be found racing with groups such as CSRG, HMSA, and SVRA, and currently is participating in the CrossFlow Cup in his 1969 Lotus single seater.

Paul also enjoys hiking, sailing and socializing with friends and family.
